I have a whole shelf in my
detailing cabinet reserved for Microfiber applicator pads. As my older, Terry
applicator pads wore out, I replaced them with Microfiber. One hundred times
smaller than a human hair, this remarkable blend of Polyester and Polyamide
cleans, polishes and buffs better than any other material ever made.
I use Microfiber pads for
everything. They're great for hand applying swirl
removers, compounds, polishes. glazes, waxes, sealants, vinyl dressings, leather
conditioners, tar removers, metal polishes and plastic cleaners. In virtually
every motorcycle detailing application, Microfiber provides better cleaning, polishing and
conditioning results than foam or Terry applicator pads. The only criticism I
have of Microfiber applicators is their cost. If I use them for removing tar or
wheel cleaning, I end up throwing them away after a few applications and I hate
pitching a three dollar applicator in the trash can!

This Microfiber Pad is a plush,
80/20 blend, Terry weave, Korean made, cloth sewn over a 3 by 5 inch foam core.
Let me stress again that
these are not cheap, Chinese-made Microfiber pads. These pads are made
with first quality, plush Microfiber made in Korea.
