In the early
80's, the German manufacturer of P21S adapted the detergent cleaning system used
in the wheel cleaners for cleaning motorcycles. This new product, Total Cycle
Cleaner, was brought to market under the S100 name. When Total Cycle
Cleaner reached America in 1990, it created a major revolution! For the first
time, all parts of a filthy bike could be cleaned in minutes using just one
product that didn't contain any petroleum solvents! Rider Magazine hailed it as
a "revolution for the Saturday morning wash."
Bike dealers and
manufacturers clamored for the new cleaner and soon ocean containers were
arriving weekly to satisfy the demand. Additional S100 products quickly followed
including Special Performance Wheel Cleaner, Total Cycle Corrosion
Protectant, Detail + Wax, Engine Brightener, Total Cycle
Finish Restorer, and the S100 Super Absorbing Towel.
