S100 Special Surfaces Cleaner
makes plastic care possible on the road.
Some companies release dozens
of new products every year in the hopes that at least one will be a winner.
Other companies are slow to release new products but when they do, every one
hits the mark. S100 is definitely in the latter group. Their products are fully
researched, the formulas work as stated and even the ergonomics of the packaging
is right for the application.
The latest winner from S100 is their
Motorcycle Special Surfaces Cleaner. This pump spray cleaner is designed
specifically for fast, easy and streak-free cleaning of plastic surfaces such as
helmets, face shields, fairings, instrument clusters and windshields. The
formula is strong enough to remove insect splatter, rain spots and road grime
yet safe enough for the vinyl coated windscreens used by Harley Davidson and
Honda. The pump spray head delivers just the right amount of product and does
not leak if the bottle tips over. This allows me to keep a bottle in my
saddlebag for cleaning on the road.

I hate riding while
looking through a bug splattered windscreen. It drives me crazy. Now when
I stop for gas, I mist and wipe my windscreen, helmet and visor with S100
Special Surfaces Cleaner. I keep a bottle in my saddlebag along with a Microfiber wipe cloth.
S100 doesn't make any mention of using this product
on painted metal but I spray and wipe my gas tank and instrument cluster
at the same time. It makes my gauges sparkle and renews the shine on my
gas tank.

Use to maintain
helmets and visors... |
and on windscreens and
fairings. |
One last trick I'll pass on is to spray and wipe the
brake light and reflectors on the back of your bike. I ride mostly in the
desert and find this cleaner keeps the lens bright and shiny without
attracting dust.
